Welcome to the MIG-RATS homepage!  The MIG-RATS provide resources and support to the ongoing research activities of the Medicaid Infrastructure Grants (MIGs).  The central feature of the MIGs is to support employment for people with disabilities.  Our research efforts focus on employment, disability, and related services.  This website is designed to help you find useful research reports and resources, learn about current MIG-RATS activities and initiatives, and connect with fellow MIG reseachers.

 

What's New.... Mathematica has released a report on Disability Data in National Surveys. The report provides an overview of 40 national surveys that collect data relevant to disability researchers, with most surveys having been fielded since 2000.

 

Kansas has released a second edition of the chartbook for their Medicaid Buy-In, Working Healthy. The chartbook documents trends in enrollment, earnings, employment, medical expenditures, consumer experiences, and consumer satisfaction from the inception of the Kansas Medicaid Buy-in in 2002 through 2010.  

 

A new edition of the Social Security Bulletin provides several articles on employment among individuals receiving Social Security disability benefits. More information is available on the Research, Statistics, and Policy Analysis section of the Social Security website.
